Our Story
Creative Learning Academy Rice, established in 2017, is a nature-based preschool devoted to fostering a love for learning among infants to pre-kindergarten children. We pride ourselves on our hands-on approach, emphasizing project based learning in a nurturing environment. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, we ensure each child receives personalized attention, helping them develop essential skills and confidence.

Infants
We like to get "messy" from time to time exploring different textures. Daily activities in this class allow the children to explore and learn in a safe and nurturing environment. Our curriculum is carried out through weekly lesson plans which help develop language skills, fine and large motor skills, and encourages sensory exploration.
Toddlers
We are committed to support each child in developing curiosity and a sense of wonder, acquiring a sense of trust, and exploring in their own way at their own pace. Our curriculum is based on the philosophy that children are competent, self-driven learners, who benefit most through exploration and their interactions with each other.
Preschoolers
Whether real or imaginary, we feel that it is only through actual experiences that a child can truly learn to truly empathize with the lives and feelings of others. The more creative we can be with our teaching, the more we are to offer an overall whole learning experience. The Creative Curriculum for Preschool is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning.
Along with our amazing Creative Curriculum, we incorporate programs like Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, Playing Preschool, Early Learning Matters, and Harmony SEL.
